#1. Indian Cinema :- The Indian film industry is the largest producer of films in the world. The 103 years old film industry comprise of the film produced across India in various languages of India. Indian cinema makes more movies than any other country in the world, over 1600 films are released annually in more than 20 different languages of India. The Indian film industry consist of various industries such as Assamese film industry, Badaga film industry, Bengali film industry, Hindi film industry, Kannada film industry, Malayalam film industry, Punjabi film industry, etc. There are more than 1000 production houses in the Indian film industry. Indian cinema has reached international platforms and are being screened in over 90 countries.
#2. Agricultural sector :- Agriculture plays a very vital role in the Indian economy. India is the largest producer, consumer and exporter of spice and spice products such as cumin, ginger, chilli pepper, turmeric in the world. India is among the top three largest producer of fruits such as banana, Mango, papaya. India has a large and diverse agricultural sector. India has the largest herds of buffalo and cattle, is the largest producer of milk and has one of the largest and fastest growing poultry industries. India is among the top three global producer of many crops such as wheat, rice, pulses, cotton, peanuts, millets, dry beans and chickpeas.
#3. Post office :- India Post is a government operated postal system in India.This163 years old postal service is the largest postal network in the world. According to the economic survey 2016, there are 1.55 lakh post offices in India ,the largest number of post offices in the world. Post offices are spread around the country and provides affordable services to the citizens in the country through its vast network. Post offices play a very crucial role in the rural areas by offering various saving schemes and provide many facilities like speed post, express post, EMS speed post, etc. India has the highest post office in the world in Sikkim at a height of 15,500 ft.
#4. Stock Exchange :- The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) is an Indian stock exchange in Mumbai, India, is the Asia’s first stock exchange. It has electronic trading system. The automated screen based platform called as BSE On-line Trading (BOLT) has a capacity of 8 millions orders per day. This 137 years old stock exchange is the fastest stock exchange with median trade speed of 6 microseconds. More than 5500 companies are publicly listed on BSE. There are 23 stock exchange in India. Out of 23, 2 are national level stock exchange i.e. Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange; and the rest 21 are Regional Stock Exchange.
#5. Mangalyaan :- Also called Mars Orbiter Mission is India’s first into interplanetary space to orbit Mars, was launched on 5th Nov, 2013 by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It is India’s first planetary mission to Mars and India has become the first nation in the world to do so in its very first attempt. The space probe successfully reached the orbit of the ‘ Red Planet’ on 24th September , 2014; has completed over 800 orbiting circle of Mars. The objective of the mission is to explore Maritian atmosphere, its surface features, mineralogy and morphology. The total cost of the Mangalyaan mission was around Rs. 454 chores making it the least expensive Mars mission ever.
